Keep Your Smile, Registered Charity No. 1130039, was founded in 2007, we began receiving donations in March 2009.
In May 2002, Michelle collapsed with a seizure and was diagnosed with cancer that took the form of a brain tumour. She underwent surgery to remove the tumour at Hope Hospital. She subsequently received radiotherapy & chemotherapy at Christies, as follow up treatment and had regular contact with a Macmillan Nurse.
Keep Your Smile was founded out of Michelle's one wish, which was to help others who's lives have been, or are yet to be, touched by cancer.
All donations will be directed to three beneficiaries, these being; Salford Royal Hospital, formerly Salford Hope Hospital. The Christie, Manchester. Macmillan Cancer Support, Macclesfield Branch. The healthcare professionals within these three organisations care for many people living with cancer everyday of their working lives. Michelles opinion is that she owes those people her life and the life of her son Tomas.
A "thank you" falls very short of the gratitude Michelle
could ever convey. She felt the need to do more, and
to this end Keep Your Smile was founded.
The Keep Your Smile Charity's initial goal is to raise
one million pounds. EVERY PENNY donated
will be distributed between the three
beneficiaries named above. NOT ONE PENNY
of donations made will be taken for operating
or administration costs.
