Step 1 - Log on to www.justgiving.com/keepyoursmile
Step 2 - Enter the details of your event - whether it is a marathon, a headshave, an overseas challenge, a birthday party or a memorial page - and select Keep Your Smile as your chosen charity.
Step 3 - Fill in your personal contact details and choose a password.
Step 4 - Select a web address for your page, give your page a title, write a message and add a photo or image.
Step 5 - In just four easy steps your Justgiving page is ready to go live on the web!
Step 6 - Email the address of your page to everyone you know - anywhere in the world - asking them to sponsor you.
Step 7 - Your friends, family and colleagues can then choose to make either a direct donation or a pledge by credit or debit card. Justgiving will issue email receipts for all online donations received on your page - your receipts can even be personalised to you!
When raising money via Justgiving donations and pledges are captured electronically and Gift Aid is reclaimed automatically. As such online sponsorship encourages secure, tax efficient donations from colleagues, friends and family.
Your sponsors have the choice to make either a pledge or an immediate donation.
pledges will only be realised as donations after you have successfully completed
your event.
If you choose to fundraise online please advise the Appeals Office so that we may
update our records and provide our best service to you. Monies raised through
Justgiving will be received by Keep Your Smile over a period of time and your
fundraising page will automatically close eight weeks after the date of
your event.
You will be thanked for all monies received via Justgiving approximately
twelve weeks after the date of your event. If you are also raising money
offline please try to submit these monies as soon as possible to enable
us to provide your with an accurate thank you letter detailing your
total sum raised..
